Cincinnati, OH - Ampac Flexibles, the flexible packaging division of Ampac Packaging LLC, announces the installation of a new Titan SR8™ Slitter Rewinder from Bobst Group at its Minneapolis, Minnesota facility.

Installation of the new Titan SR8 has given Ampac’s Minneapolis plant the ability to significantly increase slitting speeds and produce larger roll sizes to meet the growing demands of rollstock customers. The new high-speed Titan SR8 operates at up to 700 meters per minute, with a semi-automatic unloading system, laser core positioning, and quick changeover, all designed to increase productivity and flexibility. The Titan SR8 includes an innovative modular format which facilitates future machine enhancements and upgrades to meet changing production requirements. The features of the new Titan SR8 address the increasing need for flexibility in today’s marketplace.
