Ampac Flexibles Performance Films Business provides film solutions with three to nine-layer custom blended, co-extruded blown structures designed to meet precise film packaging requirements for a broad range of Market Segments and Applications.

Performance Films provides a range of breathable films for the produce (fresh cut) packaging, hermetic seals for difficult VFFS and HFFS applications including liquid, chemical, meat and dried foods and mixes, peelable seals, nylon coextrusion for puncture resistance and hot fill applications, and EVOH coextrusion for products with stringent barrier requirements. Ampac is North America's only provider of wide-web, co-extruded blown films containing Dow Chemical Company's Saran® resins providing a combination high-barrier and chemical resistance. Ampac is also developing a line of sustainable films to meet your environmental packaging goals.

Capabilities include APEX 7000™ (seven layer) and APEX 9000™ (nine layer) packaging films with proprietary blends formulated to meet your challenging applications.
