In its June, 2009 issue, Paper Film and Foil Converter (PFFC) magazine has highlighted Ampac Flexibles and its strategic expansion as a first-rate example of a supplier demonstrating committment to staying competitive and helping its customers stay competitive through making strategic investments in operations and equipment.
In the past two years, Ampac Flexibles has acquired converting operations across the country in Auburn (Seattle), WA, and around the world in Eberdingen, Germany. In the last four months of 2008, the company also installed new equipment at its facilities in Auburn and Elk Grove Village, IL.
“We are targeting some growth market niches,” explains Sal Pellingra, Ampac Flexibles Innovation and Marketing Director. “And in other markets where we are entrenched, we are working to improve our product offering.”
