John Baumann's life long pasion to lead a business culminated when he joined Ampac in 1997. His first priority was to lead the packaging company out of its Chapter 11 reorganization and restore its relationship with its employees, customers, position in the industry and marketplace.
Eight years later, Ampac is a diversified packaging company and is a leader in the Retail, Security and Consumer Packaging markets. Their revenues have increased ten-fold, they sucessfully completed nine add-on acquisitions and opened a new manufacturing plant in China.
Baumann's vision and ability to integrate his team into one cohesive unit has been the key to his success at Ampac. And through a continued focus on new product development and innovation, Ampac is expected to continue its rapid growth.
In 2003, Ampac was recognized by the Association for Corporate Growth as a recipient of the Deal Maker of The Year Award and by GAP, Inc. as Supplier of the Year. |
